The nominal scale seems to be around 1:74 and the overall length is approximately 2.6 in. About 1.3 oz. This model represents a farm tractor, possibly the 2007 John Deere 7530 Premium, equipped with the 414.4 cu in (6788 cm³), 180 hp (134.2 kW) John Deere 6068HRW77 "L6" diesel engine. All-wheel drive. Top speed around 31 mph.
Even those who know little about tractors and agricultural machinery know what a "John Deere" is. It's true that the brand has long since diversified its offerings beyond tractors ¹, but it has always maintained its corporate identity in all its products, visually stimulating and associated with innovation, robustness, and reliability. That's what I think of when I look at this eye-catching John Deere 7530 tractor in the palm of my hand, offered by Siku as part of their "3-inch" models. The metal and plastic moldings are of good quality and harmoniously integrated. I especially like the subtly aggressive stance, the accurate reproduction of the organic shapes of the hood, and the details at the rear. The paint is well applied, but the printed details leave something to be desired. I understand the difficulty with the rear fenders, but not with the excellent graphics on the sides of the hood, which are unfortunately compromised. The driver's stand is a pleasant surprise and shows, within what is possible for a toy model of this scale, a good number of details—very good. The wheels, which combine tires and rims in a single element, are well molded and finished and, to the delight of children, they roll well on any surface—but it's a pity about the less successful application of the yellow paint on the rims. In terms of recreational value, this small tractor has a towing device at the rear, allowing it to be combined with numerous trailers and accessories. For collectors of tractors and agricultural machinery in general, this John Deere 7530 is an excellent addition. For die-hard John Deere enthusiasts, it's essential. ●

Mesmo quem pouco percebe de tractores e maquinaria agrícola sabe o que é um "John Deere". É certo que desde há muito a marca diversificou a sua oferta para além dos tractores ¹, mas manteve sempre em todos os seus produtos a identidade corporativa, visualmente estimulante e associada à inovação, robustez e fiabilidade. É nisso que penso ao observar este apelativo tractor John Deere 7530 sobre a palma da minha mão, proposto pela Siku no contexto dos modelos "3-polegadas". Os moldes em metal e plástico são de boa qualidade e harmoniosamente integrados. Gosto em particular da postura subtilmente agressiva, da correcta reprodução das formas orgânicas do capot e dos detalhes à retaguarda. A pintura é bem aplicada, mas os detalhes impressos deixam algo desejar. Entendo a dificuldade nos pára-lamas traseiros, mas não nos excelentes grafismos nas laterais do capot, infelizmente comprometidos. O posto de condução é uma agradável surpresa e mostra, dentro do que é possível a um modelo-brinquedo nesta escala, um bom número de detalhes—muito bom. As rodas, que combinam num único elemento os pneus e as jantes, são bem moldadas e acabadas e, para alegria dos miúdos, também neste caso rodam bem sobre qualquer superfície—mas é pena a aplicação menos conseguida da pintura amarela nas jantes. Em termos de valor lúdico, este pequeno tractor possui dispositivo de reboque na retaguarda, o que permite combiná-lo com inúmeros atrelados e acessórios. Para os coleccionadores de tractores e maquinaria agrícola em geral este John Deere 7530 é uma excelente adição. Para os irredutíveis entusiastas da John Deere, é fundamental. ●

At the end of 2012, Siku combined the John Deere 7530 tractor, reference 1009, with the John Deere Ballenpresse baler (John Deere 990), reference 1473, creating the John Deere Traktor mit Ballenpresse set, reference 1665, including three round bales. Excellent play value for children. ●
