Hot Wheels – '67 Pontiac GTO

Scale model of an automobile in the "custom" style, the '67 Pontiac GTO , made by Hot Wheels . This example is reference 8, included in the "2005 Treasure Hunt" series. It is made in Malaysia, possibly in 2005. Metal body painted in metallic dark blue ("Metalflake Dark Blue"), black "vinyl" top. Plastic base with "chrome" finish. Glazing represented in gray tinted transparent plastic. Interior details in black plastic. Rubber tires, "chromed" plastic rims (CDDRR, Chrome Deep Dish Real Riders). No suspension. The nominal scale seems to be around 1:63 and the overall length is approximately 3.3 in. About 1.4 oz. This model in the " custom " style, the '67 Pontiac GTO, is based on the 1967 Pontiac GTO Hardtop Coupe. As a note of interest, GTO derives from "Gran Turismo Omologato". I like to think this '67 Pontiac GTO came originally equipped with the L67 Ram Air Quadra-Power 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic

Welly – 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454

In Portugal, this model is available as part of the series "Carros Miniatura II", promoted by Cofina in 2016–2017. When buying the "Correio da Manhã"  ¹  newspaper, the reader has the option of also buying the miniature. Metal body painted in red ("Cranberry Red"?), two white stripes ("racing stripes") across the hood and deck lid. Black plastic base. Glazing represented in transparent plastic with details molded in the windshield. Interior details in black plastic. Plastic wheels with gray details simulating the rims (7SP). No suspension. The nominal scale seems to be around 1:66 and the overall length is approximately 3.0 in. About 0.9 oz. This model, the 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454, is possibly based on the 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 LS5 Convertible, equipped with the 7443 cm³ (7.4 L)

Hot Wheels – '57 Plymouth Fury

Metal body painted in translucent copper ("Spectraflame Copper"), white roof. Plastic base with "chromed" finish. Glazing represented in transparent plastic. Interior details in white plastic. Rubber tires, "chromed" plastic rims (RR5SP). No suspension. License plate "BRENDON". The nominal scale is 1:64 and the overall length is approximately 3.2 in. About 1.2 oz. This model in the " custom " style, the '57 Plymouth Fury, seems to combine details of both the 1957 and 1958 Plymouth Belvedere Fury 2-door Hardtop Coupes. Curiously, none of those versions feature "B" pillars. In fact, in an article published by Brad on the "ORANGE TRACK DIECAST"
