Efsi – T-Ford 1919

Scale model of an automobile, the T-Ford 1919 , made by Efsi   ¹ . This example is reference 06, included in the "Old Timers" series. It is made in Holland, possibly in the early 1980s. Metal body painted in cream, as well as the fenders and running boards. Metal base painted in silver. Windshield and windows without glazing. Interior details in black plastic, no rear seats. Plastic wheels, yellow rims, plastic tires with molded shoulder blocks. No suspension. The nominal scale is 1:62 and the overall length is approximately 2.2 in. About 1.6 oz. This model represents a 1919 Ford Model T sedan. As a note of interest, in Spain, Pilen adds this model to its 1980 catalog as the Gran Turismo, reference 606 of the "Old Car" series. This series comprises eight references based on the five castings from the original Efsi series, namely the pickup truck, the tank truck, the tow truck, the panel van (which also appears as ambulance and fire truck) and the sedan. It is made in Portugal, possibly between the late 1980s and the mid-1990s. Metal cab painted in yellow, plastic cabin in green. Metal base painted in black. Glazing represented in transparent plastic, with details such as the windshield wipers and the rear-view mirror molded in the cab windshield and blinds and curtains molded in the cabin windows. Metal body painted in olive green and cream, olive green fenders and running boards. Decals "HARRODS LTD." on the sides and rear. Black metal base. No windshield, windows without glazing. Interior details in black plastic. White plastic tires reproducing the shoulder blocks, rims in olive green.
