Metal body painted in silver. Metal base, unpainted. Glazing represented in transparent plastic. Interior details in red plastic. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details simulating the rims (2F). With suspension. Opening doors. License plate "BENZ". The nominal scale is 1:63 and the overall length is approximately 2.9 in. About 1.4 oz. This model represents an automobile, possibly a 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL , equipped with the 182.8 cu in (2996 cm³), 243 hp (179 kW) Mercedes-Benz M198 "L6" engine. Top speed around 163 mph. Scale model of an automobile, the Morgan Plus 8 , made by LB ¹ . Reference and series unknown. It is made in Hong Kong, possibly in the 1980s. Metal body painted in yellow, including fenders and running boards. Rear-mounted spare tire. Metal base, unpainted. Windshield represented entirely in yellow tinted transparent plastic. Interior details in black plastic. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details simulating the rims. With suspension. The nominal scale is 1:57 and the overall length is approximately 2.7 in. About 1.2 oz. This model represents an automobile, possibly a 1968 Morgan Plus 8 roadster, equipped with the 215.5 cu in (3532 cm³), 168 hp (125 kW) Rover "V8" engine (derived from the Buick Fireball 215). Top speed probably around 131 mph. Some time ago, when comparing the LB Packard Coupe Roadster with the Tomica original, I concluded that the quality gap between the two was surprisingly acceptable.
