Scale model of a tank truck, the Peterbilt Tank Truck , made by  Hot Wheels . This example is reference 2800, included in the "1989 Workhorses" series. It is made in Malaysia in 1989. Metal cab, cargo platform, and chassis; cab and cargo platform painted yellow, chassis unpainted. Metal tank painted in metallic gray ("metalflake"), with printed details showing the inscription "SHELL" next to the famous clamshell logo. Cab windows represented in transparent black tinted plastic. Interior details in the cab in black plastic. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details simulating the rims (" Black Walls "). No suspension. At the base of the tank, on both sides, two black plastic hoses can be pulled out, allowing the kids to simulate supplying fuel to gas stations. Tomica – Hino Semi Trailer Transport Tank "日本石油"

It is made in Japan, presumably in the 1970s. Tractor with a cream-painted metal body; unpainted metal base. Cab windows represented in transparent green tinted plastic. Cab with no interior details. Trailer with a cream-colored plastic top, combined with a blue-painted metal bottom. "日本石油" stickers on the sides of the tank. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details simulating the rims. No suspension. The trailer attaches to the tractor via an "L"-shaped spigot. License plate "HINO". The nominal scale is 1:102 and the overall length is approximately 3.1 in. About 1.8 oz. Matchbox – Freeway Gas Tanker "Burmah"

Scale model of a tank truck, the Freeway Gas Tanker "Burmah" , made by Matchbox . This example is reference 63, included in the "1–75 Superfast" series. It is made in England, between 1973 and 1978. Tractor with a metal body painted red; base and sub-base in black plastic. Cab windows represented in transparent purple tinted plastic. Cab with no interior details. Trailer with a white painted metal top, combined with a red plastic bottom, black plastic base. "Burmah" stickers on the sides of the tank. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details simulating the rims. Typically, all versions of the Freeway Gas Tanker came with "Maltese Cross" wheels on the tractor and "5-Spoke Square" wheels on the trailer. No suspension. Poliguri – Mercedes 307 Tank Truck

It is made in Portugal, possibly between the late 1980s and the mid-1990s. Metal cab painted in yellow, plastic tank in red with "GASOLINA" printed on the sides and fixed on a white plastic base. Metal base painted in black. Glazing represented in transparent plastic, with details such as the windshield wipers and the rear-view mirror molded on the windshield. Interior details in white plastic. Plastic wheels ( R16 ) with printed details in white suggesting the rims, white line printed on the tire wall cut twice by the word "Guri". No suspension. The nominal scale is 1:65 and the overall length is approximately 3 in. About 1.4 oz.
