Metal body painted in white, with "POLICE" stickers on the sides. Black plastic base. Glazing represented in transparent blue tinted plastic, with molded details on the sides. Emergency lights in transparent blue tinted plastic. Interior details in red plastic. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details simulating the rims. With suspension. The nominal scale seems to be 1:58 and the overall length is approximately 2.9 in. About 1.3 oz. This model represents a police car  possibly based on the 1972 Porsche Carrera 2.7, equipped with the 2687 cm³, 210 hp (154 kW) Porsche MFI "boxer-6" engine. Top speed around 149 mph. Poliguri – Porsche 911

This example is reference T151-2 ² , presumably included in the "Guri Car" series ³ . It is made in China, possibly in the 1990s. Metal body painted in red, decorated with a decal on the hood. Black top, folded down. Black plastic base. Windshield glazing represented in transparent plastic. Interior details in white plastic. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details simulating the rims. Novacar – Sport Proto

Scale model of a race car, the Sport Proto , made by Novacar. This example is reference 111. It is made in Portugal, in 1994–96. Black plastic body, with printed details. Unpainted metal base. Glazing represented in gray transparent plastic. No interior details. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details. No suspension. The overall length is approximately 3 in. About 0.7 oz. This model represents a " sports prototype " race car, presumably based on the 1984 Porsche 962 .  The problem with miniature race cars is that, even in the world of make-believe, like their big relatives, they serve just one purpose – to race. And in that context, any ambitious kid soon discovers that the most competitive cars are usually the heavier, equipped with suspension and with little friction in the axles. Some Hot Wheels, Matchbox or Tomica models are excellent rollers and natural choices – unlike Novacar models, which are light and tend to annoy ladybugs on the sides of the track. In truth,...

Metal body painted in red. Metal base, unpainted. Glazing represented in green transparent plastic with details molded in the windshield and rear window. Interior details in cream plastic. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details simulating the rims. With suspension. Opening doors. License plate "X69X". The nominal scale is 1:63 and the overall length is approximately 2.8 in. About 1.5 oz. This model represents a 1978 Porsche 928 equipped with the 4474 cm³, 177 kW (240 hp) Porsche M28 8-cylinder engine in V-configuration. It could reach a top speed of around 142 mph.  When I come across a 928, in the early 1980s, it looks like an alien object, rounded, with the metallic painting sparkling in the sun.
