Scale model of an automobile, the Chevrolet Corvette ¹, made by Welly. This example is reference 101B ², included in the "Racers" series. It is made in Hong Kong, possibly in the 1990s. Metal body painted in red, with printed details (stripes) on the hood, top and rear deck. Black plastic base. Glazing represented in transparent plastic with details molded in the rear window. Interior details in white plastic. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details simulating the rims. With suspension. Opening doors. The nominal scale seems to be around 1:63 and the overall length is approximately 2.8 in. About 0.8 oz. This model represents an automobile, possibly a 1984 Chevrolet Corvette (C4 ³) Fastback Coupe, equipped with the 350 cu in (5.7 L/5733 cm³), 205 hp (153 kW) Chevrolet Cross-Fire "V8" engine. Top speed around 138 mph. ●

Carroçaria em metal pintada em vermelho, com detalhes impressos (faixas) sobre o capot, tejadilho e traseira. Base em plástico preto. Vidros representados em plástico transparente com detalhes moldados na janela traseira. Detalhes interiores em plástico branco. Rodas em plástico com detalhes "cromados" a simular as jantes. Com suspensão. Abre as portas. A escala nominal parece ser à volta de 1:63 e o comprimento total é de aproximadamente 71 mm. Cerca de 23 g. Este modelo representa um automóvel, possivelmente um Chevrolet Corvette (C4 ³) Fastback Coupe de 1984, equipado com o motor Chevrolet Cross-Fire "V8" de 350 cu in (5.7 L/5733 cm³) e 205 hp (153 kW). How much?
Several readers have asked me to include the market value of the items described. In fact, and as most collectors will agree – an item is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. However, most collectors will also agree on average values, based on objective notions of relevance, scarcity and conservation. Therefore, and as I know that these requests for market values will not stop, I will occasionally include, not necessarily the market value, but rather, based on my perception of the markets over the last thirty years, the value that, hypothetically and at the time of publication, I am willing to pay for the item described. In this case and in Portugal, I will pay up to €3 for a Chevrolet Corvette made by Welly, loose and in good condition, or up to €5 if boxed and in perfect condition. ●
