Siku – Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron

Metal body painted in black and metallic dark red. Black plastic base. Glazing represented in transparent plastic. Interior details in beige plastic. Detailed gray plastic rims, rubber tires. No suspension. Opening doors. License plate "SIKU 180". The nominal scale is 1:55 and the overall length is approximately 3.2 in. About 1.7 oz. This model represents the 2005 Bugatti EB 16•4 Veyron coupé, equipped with a 7993 cm³, 736 kW (1001 hp) 16-cylinder engine in double-V configuration. It can reach a top speed of around 253 mph. 

Here, Siku demonstrates that good proportions and details can coexist in a robust model, primarily aimed at children. The ground clearance, less than 3.5 in in the prototype, is too much – fear of speed bumps? – but still the "character" of the Veyron is there. The two color paint scheme and printed details are well applied. The front and rear wheels are, as in the prototype, of different sizes and despite some wobbling they roll well. The visible elements of the remarkable W16 engine are finely molded. The functional doors incorporate the tiny rearview mirrors and come properly aligned. This automobile, the Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron, is in my collection under the theme "German Vehicles". ●

Carroçaria em metal pintada em preto e vermelho escuro metalizado. Base em plástico preto. Vidros representados em plástico transparente. Detalhes interiores em plástico bege. Jantes em plástico cinzento detalhadas, pneus em borracha. Sem suspensão. Abre as portas. Matrícula "SIKU 180". A escala nominal é 1:55 e o comprimento total é de aproximadamente 81 mm. Cerca de 47 g. Este modelo representa o Bugatti EB 16•4 Veyron coupé de 2005, equipado com um motor de 16 cilindros em duplo V, com 7993 cm³ e 736 kW (1001 hp). Pode alcançar uma velocidade máxima de cerca de 407 km/h.

Aqui, a Siku demonstra que boas proporções e detalhes podem coexistir num modelo robusto, fundamentalmente destinado a crianças. A distância ao solo, menos de 9 cm no protótipo, é demasiada – receio de lombas? – mas ainda assim o "carácter" do Veyron está lá. O esquema de pintura de duas cores e os detalhes impressos são bem aplicados. As rodas dianteiras e traseiras são, como no protótipo, de tamanhos diferentes e apesar de alguma oscilação rolam bem. Os elementos visíveis do notável motor W16 encontram-se finamente moldados. As portas funcionais incorporam os pequenos espelhos retrovisores e vêm devidamente alinhadas. Este automóvel, o Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron, encontra-se na minha colecção sob o tema "Veículos Alemães". ●

Rajá – Colecção Espacial

Miniatures of human and alien figures constituting the series " Colecção Espacial ". This series of 16 miniatures appears in 1970 associated with the Rajá ice cream brand, which offers a figurine on each ice cream purchased. Monochrome plastic, various colors. Although the figurines themselves do not have movable or removable parts, two of them, offered separately, can be fitted together – the Capitão Roskoff and his Disco Volante. The height of the figurines varies between approximately 0.9 and 1.4 in. About 0.1 to 0.2 oz. These miniatures depict a group of astronauts, aliens and a smiling robot. A small flying vehicle used by one of the astronauts is also included. Two characters of the series are also available in larger sized figures. Poliguri – Brief Introduction

Poliguri is a Portuguese manufacturer of small die-cast metal cars , presumably active between 1987 and 1992. The factory is located in Cacém, about 20 km from Lisboa. Production includes the Mercedes Unimog, the Mercedes 207, the Mercedes 307, the Mercedes 200, the Fiat Uno and the Peugeot 405 Prototype, in scales between 1:65 and 1:50. A Lancia Integrale is announced, but apparently never produced. The Mercedes 207 appears as a minibus, ambulance and motorhome, while the Mercedes 307 appears as a pickup truck, pickup truck with tarp, tank truck and tow truck. The Mercedes 200 appears in the civilian version, as a police car and as a taxicab. The Fiat Uno and the Peugeot 405 appear in civilian and sporting versions. The Mercedes Unimog, the Mercedes 207 minibus and ambulance and the Mercedes 307 tow truck can pull a small trailer with tarp.
