Yatming – Lamborghini Marzal


Scale model of an automobile, the Lamborghini Marzal, made by Yatming. This example is reference 1004, included in the "Fastwheel" series. It is made in Hong Kong, possibly in the 1980s. Metal body painted in yellow. Black plastic base. Glazing represented in transparent plastic. Interior details in yellow plastic. Plastic wheels with "chrome" details simulating the rims. With suspension. The nominal scale seems to be around 1:63 and the overall length is approximately 2.8 in (71 mm). About 0.8 oz (24 g). This model, the Lamborghini Marzal, represents the "concept car" designed by Marcello Gandini and unveiled by Lamborghini at the 1967 "Geneva International Motor Show".

This automobile, the Lamborghini Marzal, is in my collection under the themes "Italian Vehicles" and "Concept Cars". ●

Modelo à escala de um automóvel, o Lamborghini Marzal, feito pela Yatming. Este exemplar é a referência 1004, incluída na série "Fastwheel". É feito em Hong Kong, possivelmente nos anos oitenta. Carroçaria em metal pintada em amarelo. Base em plástico preto. Vidros representados em plástico transparente. Detalhes interiores em plástico amarelo. Rodas em plástico com detalhes "cromados" a simular as jantes. Com suspensão. A escala nominal parece ser à volta de 1:63 e o comprimento total é de aproximadamente 71 mm. Cerca de 24 g. Este modelo, o Lamborghini Marzal, representa o "concept car" idealizado por Marcello Gandini e revelado pela Lamborghini no "Salão Internacional do Automóvel de Genebra" de 1967.

Sadly, I never came across the amazing Lamborghini Marzal. But I would like to share something interesting with you, my friends. The photo of a super car inspired by this prototype, the Lamborghini Espada, seen at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Portimão, on a bright October morning in 2011. Be still, my foolish heart. ●

Infelizmente, nunca me cruzei com o espantoso Lamborghini Marzal. Mas aproveito para partilhar convosco, meus amigos, algo de interessante. A fotografia de um super carro inspirado por esse protótipo, o Lamborghini Espada, visto no Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Portimão, numa luminosa manhã de Outubro em 2011. This series of 16 miniatures appears in 1970 associated with the Rajá ice cream brand, which offers a figurine on each ice cream purchased. Monochrome plastic, various colors. Obstacles In editorial terms, 2023 was a year without surprises for the " FUTURE MEMORY | TRANSPORTATION " and " FUTURE MEMORY | TOYS & MODELS " websites. But it is increasingly clear that one life is not enough to share my entire photographic collection.
