Norev – Alpine A110 "Gendarmerie"


Scale model of a police car, the Alpine A110 "Gendarmerie", made by Norev. This example is reference 319251 ¹, included in the "Multigam Classic" series. It is made in China in 2017. Metal body painted in metallic blue, with printed details, including the "Gendarmerie" lettering on the sides. Black plastic base. Glazing represented in transparent plastic, with details molded in the windshield. Interior details in black plastic. Rubber tires, silver plastic rims. Without suspension. The nominal scale is 1:54 and the overall length is approximately 2.8 in. About 1.1 oz. This model represents a police car, possibly the 1971 Alpine A110 1600 S berlinette equipped with the 1565 cm³, 92 kW (125 hp) Renault 16 TS engine. Top speed is above 124 mph.

Between 1967 and 1971, three versions of the Alpine are successively adopted by the "Brigade Rapide d'Intervention" of the "Gendarmerie Nationale" as "VRI", or "Véhicules Rapides d'Interventions" – 1500, 1600 and 1600 S. I assume the version reproduced by Norev is the 1600 S. The miniature lacks some details, such as the antenna on the roof, the additional headlights, or the small orange or blue roof light, and perhaps the body color does not exactly match that used by the "Gendarmerie Nationale". For the rest, an excellent model, certainly appreciated by enthusiasts of the marque, as well as by collectors of police vehicles. This police car, the Alpine A110 "Gendarmerie", is in my collection under the theme "French Vehicles" and "Police Vehicles". ●

Carroçaria em metal pintada em azul metalizado, com detalhes impressos, incluindo a inscrição "Gendarmerie" nas laterais. Base em plástico preto. Vidros representados em plástico transparente, com detalhes moldados no pára-brisas. Detalhes interiores em plástico preto. Pneus em borracha, jantes em plástico prateadas. Sem suspensão. A escala nominal é 1:54 e o comprimento total é de aproximadamente 72 mm. Cerca de 32 g. Este modelo representa um carro de polícia, possivelmente o Alpine A110 1600 S berlinette de 1971, equipado com o motor Renault 16 TS de 1565 cm³ e 92 kW (125 hp). Velocidade máxima acima de 200 km/h.

Entre 1967 e 1971, três versões do Alpine são sucessivamente adoptadas pela "Brigade Rapide d'Intervention" da "Gendarmerie Nationale" como "VRI", ou "Véhicules Rapides d'Interventions" – 1500, 1600 e 1600 S. Suponho que a versão reproduzida pela Norev seja a 1600 S. À miniatura, faltam alguns detalhes, como a antena sobre o tejadilho, os faróis suplementares, ou o pequeno rotativo em cor-de-laranja ou azul, e talvez a cor da carroçaria não corresponda exactamente à utilizada pela "Gendarmerie Nationale". Quanto ao resto, um excelente modelo, decerto apreciado pelos entusiastas da marca, assim como pelos coleccionadores de viaturas de polícia. Este carro de polícia, o Alpine A110 "Gendarmerie", encontra-se na minha colecção sob o tema "Veículos Franceses" e "Veículos de Polícia". ●

Obstacles In editorial terms, 2023 was a year without surprises for the " FUTURE MEMORY | TRANSPORTATION " and " FUTURE MEMORY | TOYS & MODELS " websites. But it is increasingly clear that one life is not enough to share my entire photographic collection.
