Norev – Peugeot 404


Scale model of an automobile, the Peugeot 404, made by Norev. This example is included in the "Norev Rétro" series. It is made in China, possibly in 2009. Metal body painted in cream. Black plastic base. Glazing represented in transparent plastic, with details molded in the windshield. Interior details in dark red plastic. Detailed plastic rims with metallic gray finish, rubber tires. No suspension. The nominal scale is 1:58 and the overall length is approximately 3 in. About 1.2 oz. This model possibly represents a 1961 Peugeot 404 Confort berline, equipped with a 1618 cm³, 71 bhp 4-cylinder (I4) engine. It could reach a top speed of around 87 mph.

This car has created great affective roots among us in Portugal. In the city, especially for its taxicab version. And in the countryside, for its laborious and indestructible version "camionnette ridelles", or "pickup truck" if we prefer, almost always painted in discreet shades of gray. This automobile, the Peugeot 404, is in my collection under the theme "French Vehicles". ●

Modelo à escala de um automóvel, o Peugeot 404, feito pela Norev. Este exemplar está incluído na série "Norev Rétro". É feito na China, possivelmente em 2009. Carroçaria em metal pintada em creme. Base em plástico preto. Vidros representados em plástico transparente, com detalhes moldados no pára-brisas. Detalhes interiores em plástico vermelho escuro. Jantes em plástico detalhadas e com acabamento em cinzento metalizado, pneus em borracha. Sem suspensão. A escala nominal é 1:58 e o comprimento total é de aproximadamente 76 mm. Cerca de 33 g. Este modelo representa possivelmente um Peugeot 404 Confort berline de 1971, equipado com um motor de 4 cilindros (L4) de 1618 cm³ e 71 bhp. Podia atingir uma velocidade máxima de cerca de 140 km/h.

Este automóvel criou entre nós, em Portugal, grandes raízes afectivas. Na cidade, sobretudo pela sua versão de táxi. E no campo, pela sua laboriosa e indestrutível versão "camionnette ridelles", ou "pickup" se o preferirmos, quase sempre pintada em discretos tons de cizento. Este automóvel, o Peugeot 404, encontra-se na minha colecção sob o tema "Veículos Franceses". ●

Rajá – Colecção Espacial

Miniatures of human and alien figures constituting the series " Colecção Espacial ". This series of 16 miniatures appears in 1970 associated with the Rajá ice cream brand, which offers a figurine on each ice cream purchased. Monochrome plastic, various colors. Although the figurines themselves do not have movable or removable parts, two of them, offered separately, can be fitted together – the Capitão Roskoff and his Disco Volante. The height of the figurines varies between approximately 0.9 and 1.4 in. About 0.1 to 0.2 oz. These miniatures depict a group of astronauts, aliens and a smiling robot. A small flying vehicle used by one of the astronauts is also included. Two characters of the series are also available in larger sized figures. These figures are hollow, made in plastic (" ultratene ", ultrathene) and with painted details. Poliguri – Brief Introduction

Poliguri is a Portuguese manufacturer of small die-cast metal cars , presumably active between 1987 and 1992. The factory is located in Cacém, about 20 km from Lisboa. Production includes the Mercedes Unimog, the Mercedes 207, the Mercedes 307, the Mercedes 200, the Fiat Uno and the Peugeot 405 Prototype, in scales between 1:65 and 1:50. A Lancia Integrale is announced, but apparently never produced. The Mercedes 207 appears as a minibus, ambulance and motorhome, while the Mercedes 307 appears as a pickup truck, pickup truck with tarp, tank truck and tow truck. The Mercedes 200 appears in the civilian version, as a police car and as a taxicab. The Fiat Uno and the Peugeot 405 appear in civilian and sporting versions. The Mercedes Unimog, the Mercedes 207 minibus and ambulance and the Mercedes 307 tow truck can pull a small trailer with tarp.
